Goal:
Create a uniform set of business unit recovery plans that, when executed, will sustain the critical functions of the enterprise through the first twenty-one days following a major disaster.

Deliverables:

• Create planning assumptions based on documentation of current hazards.
• Design and deliver a one-day workshop to introduce business unit recovery planning fundamentals and methods that will be used to develop plans.
• Facilitate a discussion of critical functions discussion with representatives of all departments.
• Review draft business unit recovery plans.
• Design and conduct a half-day tabletop exercise to test plans.
• Formally review and document business unit plans, identifying any additional documentation required.
